Former White House aide Kathleen Willey, who in 1998 alleged that then-President Bill Clinton had sexually assaulted her five years prior, dropped an announcement on Facebook this weekend that could irrevocably harm the presidential campaign of Bill’s wife, Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton.
The announcement stated that “(a) very brave and courageous young woman” would appear with Willey on radio host Aaron Klein’s show on the evening of Oct. 9.
“She will tell her story for the first time about her experiences with Bill Clinton when she was a TV reporter in Little Rock,” Willey wrote. “His show is from 7-9. Please share and listen in.”
The post may be viewed below, though it should be noted that Willey initially claimed the appearance would occur “tonight.” She later corrected herself in a post update published three hours later.
It sounded as if Willy intends to unveil yet woman accusing Bill Clinton of sexual assault. Numerous others have already been identified, including but not limited to Juanita Broaddrick, Carolyn Moffet, Elizabeth Ward, Sandra Allen James and Christy Zercher.
The discovery of another sexual assault accuser could harm Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign for a number of reasons, the chief one being that she has never expressed even an iota of sympathy and compassion for the women her husband hurt.
Instead, Clinton reportedly made numerous, documented attempts in the 1990s to silence these women and prevent them from damaging her husband’s tenure in the White House.
Most telling of all has been how both Clinton’s behavior and lack of empathy have completely belied the image she has tried to project of herself being a champion of women.
Here’s the truth: Real champions of women do not try to smear and discredit victims of sexual abuse.
