WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has played a key role in this year’s presidential election by releasing hacked emails implicating Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton and her associates in all manner of unsavory behavior.
But, Assange recently warned, Republican Donald Trump may have other obstacles in his path to the White House.
The hacking guru told John Pilger of Russia Today that the “global elites” would not allow Trump to win on Nov. 8, according to American Thinker.
Listen to Assange’s comments here:
Assange avoided the question of his organization trying to put Trump in the White House, but he seemed confident that the businessman-turned-candidate would be defeated.
“Banks, intelligence, arms companies, big foreign money, etc. is all united behind Hillary Clinton … and the media as well … the owners and the journalists themselves,” he explained.
Although we do not agree with everything Assange has ever said or done, and the source, Russia Today, obviously has a political bias to portray things in the best light possible for its country, we should consider the likelihood that Assange is right about the opposition.
We do know for sure that Clinton has strong ties to foreign governments such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates — and therefore access to their money.
And, we also know, without a doubt, that Clinton has the mainstream media in her pocket, as their bias plays out on a national level every day.
Furthermore, the former secretary of state has been connected to big business and has often given high-dollar speeches to banking organizations.
We’ll know for sure on Nov. 8 how much influence these connections have had on the 2016 presidential election, and Trump will need as much support and help as possible to ensure that he overcomes this corruption by the “global elites.”
